Plasma Thermal Spray Electrode and Nozzle
HOSO produces high-quality plasma thermal spray electrodes and nozzles (cathode and anode) using back casting technology to combine tungsten and copper. This advanced joining technique ensures non-defect bonding between the two materials, providing the best thermal conductivity.

Based on customer drawings, we use high-density tungsten combined with oxygen-free copper. Our electrodes offer the advantage of a stable arc and a gradual voltage drop, ensuring superior performance.
Advantages
1) High-Quality Tungsten and Tungsten Alloy: HOSO's tungsten exhibits superior longevity, ensuring extended service life for our electrodes and nozzles.
| Material | Oxide doped | tungsten content(wt%) | emmision (eV) |
| pure tungsten | - | 99.95 | 4.25-5.01 |
| tugnsten lanthanum | 1% | balance | 1.7-4.2 |
| thorium tungsten | 2% | balance | 2.0-3.0 |
2) Advanced Bonding Technology: Our advanced bonding technology ensures there is no porosity between the copper shank and tungsten tips, resulting in optimal performance and durability.
