Tungsten silver composite

 

HOSO has more than 10 years experience to produce the silver tungsten alloy which is register HOSOPM®1 series. Our products answer to the standard of GB/T8320-2003 and ASTM B631. Our tungsten silver equivalents to Ekonite 2088, 20S, 30S, 35S, 50S, 4050, 20SB, 35SB, 2110, 2150.  Our products widly used as EDM erosion electrode, electrical contacts tips, spot welding electrode.  

 

Tungten silver process:

HOSO use the advanced vacuum infiltration process to produce tungsten silver alloy, which is also called PSI process. so our silver tungsten product has very high density and electrical conductivity. Tungsten silver adopts these process routes:  mix powder preparation –pressing – sintering – infiltration -machining.

 

HOSO tungsten silver application and advantage:

HOSO's AgW is excellent contact materials for heavy duty switching applications. The high melting temperatures and high strength of the refractory metals give them a high resistance to arc erosion, welding, mechanical wear and deformation. The high conductivity metals provide good electrical and thermal conduction and a low contact resistance.

The following information provides guidelines for silver-tungsten material. Typical ranges of chemistry and properties are given for the range of compositions available. We can offer specific compositions other than those listed.

Below is our standard size in stock. Beside this list we can make the customrized product. But limited by our molding, the Max. length 300mm for rod. 400mm for plate. 

 

HOSOCP® is our registered brand for the machining parts. We offer the standard electrode for ABB, Siemens,...etc. With our material which is produced by ourself, we supply the machining parts according to customer's drawing. Typical application is electrical contact,  AgW insert spot welding electrode.
