HOSO Metal has more than 10 years experience to produce the copper tungsten alloy. we use the advanced vacuum infiltration process and all of the product fulfill the standard of GB/T8320-2003 and ASTM B702. Our copper tungsten equivalent to  5W3, 10W3, 10W53, A1WC, A10WC, A20WC, A30WC, 20W3, class10, Class11, Class12, CuW75, CuW70, CuW80, tungsten copper, CuW.

copper tungsten rod and barcopper tungsten is the pseudo-alloy. It has the wear resistance capability of tungsten and high electrical conductivity of copper.

Focus on the different industrial application fields, our copper tungsten series product has different grade level: “E” series CuW for EDM electrode, “R” series CuW for resistance welding electrode, “T” series of tungsten copper for heat sink, and “G” series of copper tungsten for electrical contact. “W” series copper tungsten for weight counter. Please refer to copper tungsten brochure get product detail.

HOSOMETAL’s tungsten copper process follow chart:  powder mix – press – sintering -vacuum infiltration -machining. All the process step is strictly controled by quality assurance. So our products have good performance and stable quality.

Tungsten copper rod has two machining methods: turning and grinding. If without special request, our tungsten copper rod Dia. tolerance is (0,+0.02)mm. the length tolerance follow the ISO2768 class C.

We use the advance technology to produce the tungsten copper composite join the Iron shank. thanks our diffusing welding technology,  the connection area without porosity and with very high strengthen. This product wildly used as the EDM electrode and some special application.
